Welcome to Calara Tobi, an historic 18th-century Riad in the heart of the Medina which has been lovingly restored by its owners with exceptional attention to detail.
LOCATION
Rising above the rooftops of Essaouira’s Medina, the Riad offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the city walls, and the winding streets below and is a short walk from the beach, the port, Scala and restaurant, shops and souks for a car-free vacation.
Enjoy espectacular Medina and sea views from our sunny terrace and our shaded rooftop lounge where you can have tea or breakfast, read a book or chat with friends in great confort.
STAFF SERVICE
Breakfast and cleaning included. This is a full service Riad. Azzedine and his team will cater to your needs ensuring you a carefree stay while retreating away when not needed to guarantee your privacy. Delicious meals can be arranged for 200dh per person.

A MAGICAL SPACE
Inside, soaring wooden ceilings and south-facing windows flood every room with light. The riad unfolds across four floors with:
4 suites with en-suite bathrooms
2 additional bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms
1 office/cinema room that can be transformed into another suite (also en-suite)
A total of 7 bathrooms plus a guest toilet.
The ground floor preserves its historic arched space, now reimagined as a private wellness retreat with a traditional hammam, an ice bath that doubles as a hot tub, showers, a fountain, and a yoga/gym studio.
Gather in the open kitchen and dining room by the fireplace, relax in the living room and central hall, watch a movie in our cinema room or retreat to the rooftop lounge or the hammam.
